Hi, I'm interested in deploying landing pages to different domain names.
It would great if we could utilize the Headless channel and have Instant pages deployed to their own dedicated domains through Shopify.
With either Hydrogen or Headless I believe this could be possible:
https://apps.shopify.com/headless
https://shopify.dev/docs/storefronts/headless/hydrogen/deployments/self-hosting
It would be awesome to have an integration between Instant + Headless to deploy these landing pages under a separate TLD domain but still use the same store data from a single store.
This is one of the caveats of Shopify currently. You can only really host a single TLD domain (with some support of different subdomains through markets).
However, the current model is that admins need and entirely separate store to host a landing page on a different domain name. The only way around this would be to use the Headless channel.
This would be a huge feature for Instant, because store owners could deploy separate websites for dedicated campaigns, conferences, or other events without disrupting their core domain.
It could allow for a more custom site architecture and would utilize the same store data to host dedicated sales funnels on different domains.
In the end, they could still point to the same checkout flow through Shopify. However, the landing page could be hosted on a separate TLD.
